Product Description

The IS200PDIOH1A was a circuit module created by GE for the series MkVI. Included in the Speedtronic product line, the MKVI is was a cutting-edge system designed for the complex management of robust gas and steam turbine structures of a variety of sizes and complexities. The Speedtronic line developed the MKI system in 1969 to help with the day-to-day management of intricate turbine systems. The Mark VI was the fifth in the line of these systems to be released commercially and included features such as a PC-based HMI or client interface which ran on a Windows Systems platform. This HMI used specifically conceived software such as CIMPLICITY graphics for running the turbine systems.

The IIS200PDIOH1A was fabricated to be an EROC (Exciter Regulator Options Card/Board.) This card was designed to deliver support for regulator options, terminal board power connections, and for third-party ground detectors. The GE ground detector used the EROC board to find outflow resistance to being grounded at any position on the generator field circuit path. The IS200PDIOH1A provided the transmission of information to two different locations on the regulatory rack and could communicate using a keypad mounted with an RS-232 cable. A connection for the keypad was located on the IS200PDIOH1A faceplate. There was another keypad connection positioned on the board’s backplane.

The IS200PDIOH1A had four high-voltage electrolytic capacitors and one CPU socket. The card had numerous integrated circuits. The forward-facing faceplate included quite a few connections and components.
