Product Description
The IS215UCVEH2A, manufactured by General Electric, is a dual-sided controller board designed as part of the company’s Mark VI Speedtronic system. The MK VI was one of the most advanced Speedtronic systems ever released by GE, offering users the ability to set up either TMR or Simplex systems for gas and steam industrial turbine control.
The IS215UCVEH2A includes a front faceplate that is built with three LED indicators located at the top of the board. These are status indicators. Additionally, the faceplate includes a reset button, an opening for a mezzanine card, additional LEDs, and ports for LAN, SVGA, Ethernet, and other connections. The faceplate is marked with the GE logo and board ID (as is the connected circuit board) and includes two set screws that will help secure the board in place after rack insertion. Typically, this board is placed into slot number two.
The IS215UCVEH2A board includes two lithium batteries on its surface, as well as a microSD card. The board also has surface-mounted resistors, capacitors, and chokes. Integrated circuits hold software information, including Turbine block library control functions for steam, gas, and LM products.
