Frequently Asked Questions about UR-1HH
What is the power rating for a GE Multilin UR-1HH power supply module used in the UR series of Multilin universal relays?
The power rating of the UR-1HH is a high voltage specification (H). At 35 W it ranges from 125 to 250 V. At 35 VA it ranges from 100 to 240 VAC. Universal Relays accept power modules from either the high or the low voltage range.
What is the input voltage range of a UR-1HH Multilin power supply?
In 2014, the high voltage power supply was redesigned and updated with the release of the UR-SH modules. The product notification specified that the original generations previously had a input voltage range from 88 to 300 V DC. The SH power supply modules in contrast have an input voltage range from 88 to 400 V DC. The UR-1HH is dependent on a CPU module for voltage rail monitoring. This is another difference with the SH power supply. All rails now are capable of voltage rail monitoring. The universal relay systems will accept power supply modules from all generations however it is recommended to keep the two power supply modules from the same generation if two are used in the same universal relay. The UR-1HH is currently only available from surplus automation suppliers as the UR-1H generation and the UR-RH power supply modules have been removed from production.
